Earn Miles for Discounts
This month I’ve decided to shift gears a bit and stray from the usual shopping related apps. Miles App is unique in that it rewards for very little effort on your part.
In this post I’ll cover the ways you can earn with the Miles App and what you can redeem for. A super simple way to earn discounts on products and services, Miles just needs to be on your phone with no action required from you.
What is the Miles App?
The Miles App is an app you can download for Apple or Android, it uses the location service on your phone to track your daily travels for all modes of transportation.
As of writing this post, July 2020, Miles currently provides the following rewards for the below listed types of transportation:
- Flying: .1x Earned Miles
- Driving: 1x Earned Miles
- Carpool or Ride Share: 2x Earned Miles
- Bus, Train, Boat, or Skiing: 3x Earned Miles
- Biking: 5x Earned Miles
- Running or Walking: 10x Earned Miles
So what does that mean?
Basically if you fly from Point A to Point B and the flight is 600 miles, you will earn .1 times 600 which is a reward of 60 miles.
If you Drive 50 miles from Point A to Point B, you will earn 50 miles.
Where Do I Get the Miles App?
You can find the Miles App in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Be sure when setting up your profile that you enter the special code/invite code NURAEA for a 2,000 mile welcome bonus. We get a little bit back from Miles App as well as a thank you.
You can also follow this link for download instructions.
What are the Rewards?
Now for the good stuff. As I mentioned to begin with, the Miles App allows you to earn discounts on the go. While I haven’t seen any 100% totally free products and so far no gift cards, why not get some money off other purchases or services?
Rewards offer vary from free trials, to free items in subscription boxes, discounts on memberships or even just discounts from various retailers on their websites.
As of writing this post, 7/27/20, some rewards include:
- Exclusive Membership rates from getaroom.com
- Complimentary Audi A4 Rental when you book an Audi A4 rental for more than a day through Silvercar.
- Free 3 months of Pandora Premium.
- $25 off your first box of Daily Harvest.
- Employee pricing on HP technology through HP.
- Up to 50% off wiht Babbel.
There are so many more rewards encompassing so many more products and services. Best way to try something new, get some money off a product or service you were thinking of purchasing but didn’t want to pay full price for, and more.
One of my favorite rewards:
As I was writing this post, I learned that the Miles App has teamed with Restaurant.com for $25 restaurant gift cards for just $5! I LOVE Restaurant.com and have been a member for over 10 years.
In summary:
In summary, the Miles App allows you to earn discounts on a plethora of products and services for a variety of transportation methods. You earn more miles the more socially responsible the transportation mode. Right now while people are home way more than usual, they are offering even more miles to spend for Walking, Running, and Biking.
The Miles App is available for both Apple and Android phones and if you use the code NURAEA upon signup you’ll get a bonus 2,000 miles.
Download the app today and get moving!
